Question: How long does it take for me to start feeling the affects of massage therapy?

My Chiropractor asked me to try massage therapy even though I was really against the idea. I have gone a few times and I have not noticed any improvement. If anything, I think it hurts worse after the massage. How long does it usually take for the affects to be noticeable?

It depends on your condition and what is going on. It can take awhile if you have a lot of chronic tightness which I would guess you do from you saying that you are sore afterwards - tell your massage therapist and ask them these questions.
